Mayo Clinic Health System in Decorah, Iowa is recruiting an Allergist/Immunologist to join their community-based practice. The primary responsibility of this opportunity will have a clinical focus; however, there are opportunities to pursue interests in education and research.
The Division seeks a candidate who can provide patient care for our adult and pediatric population in a community-based practice setting. The successful candidate will work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and patients while maintaining a high quality of patient care and high patient satisfaction. A successful M.D. or D.O. applicant will fulfill the following requirements:
- Board certified/board eligible by the ABAI (American Board of Allergy and Immunology)
- Completion of an accredited Allergy/Immunology fellowship
- Record of interest and excellence in the clinical care of patients
- Sincere interest and experience in resident and medical student education
- Will be instrumental as part of a team that will be initiating a new practice in Decorah, with the ability to grow knowledge and expertise by utilizing Mayo Clinic's collaborative teamwork and network of professionals.
- Nursing and Pharmacy support for the safe delivery of immunotherapy injections and complex allergy testing
- Administrative and billing support
- Built-in referral network
- Leadership development and potential for leadership advancement for candidates interested
- Strong collaboration and teamwork with other Allergists/Immunologists at our largest group practice site in Rochester, MN

In Decorah, Mayo Clinic Health System physicians provide primary and specialty care at Winneshiek Medical Center (WMC).
