Position description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of WMC is responsible to inform the CAO and the BOT of matters which affect the financial health and growth of the medical center,develop and implement the organization’s financial plan, implement accounting and budgeting policies, and direct processes for departments to develop budgets, track expenses, record and collect revenue, and maintain financial statements. The CFO serves as one of the administrative staff and works closely with the CAO regarding input on services and strategic planning for the organization as well as assisting the CAO with day-to-day operations. The CFO is responsible for the review and approval of departmental organization and staffing requirements for those departments reporting to this position. The CFO is responsible for delegation of job accountabilities, assessment of staff proficiencies, sound budgets, evaluation of departmental operations and resultant patient care. Additionally, the CFO will assist with profit and loss analysis, decision support, and productivity benchmarking.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business, Finance, Accounting, or closely related field required. Master's degree preferred. Five years previous healthcare financial management experience required.

Additional qualifications
Experienced leader with progressively increasing responsibility and complexity in high performing hospitals or health systems. Previous experience as CFO in healthcare environment preferred. Demonstrated leadership accomplishments in the overall improvement of strategic, financial, quality and operational performance.
Experience in Lean Management Systems is preferred – commitment to learn Lean Management Systems if not experienced. Capable and comfortable working in a leadership matrix with physician and nursing leadership colleagues at all levels of the organization.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.  The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $5591.20, based on a full-time position.
