Position description
Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI, is seeking a general cardiologist to join our growing practice. The candidate will work with a collegial group of 16 other Mayo Cardiologists (3 interventional, 1 EP and another EP being recruited) to provide team-based care for patients in a Mayo Clinic Health System community hospital, which provides a full spectrum of cardiovascular and cardiovascular surgical care including minimally invasive surgery. Level III training in echo is required for this thriving practice. Additional skills in other imaging modalities are beneficial (e.g. CT angiography, cardiac MRI and nuclear stress testing). Daily responsibilities will include interpreting echos, performing TEEs, overseeing several NP/PAs who run the hospital service, and seeing patients in a clinic setting. Opportunities are available for collaboration and education with Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Candidates will have an appointment with Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and opportunities to be involved in Mayo Clinic’s three shields: Practice, Education and Research.

License or certification
Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiology with Level 3 Echo and be eligible for medical license in the State of Wisconsin.
