The Polysomnographic (PSG) Technologist provides PSG recordings and all technical duties related to the PSG evaluation of sleep disorders. Analyzes data, scores polysomnograms and compiles data into a report for physician review. The PSG Tech supports the organization and department's vision, mission, goals, and values.
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare related field. Prefer Associate of Applied Science degree in Respiratory Care or Neurophysiology or Current BRPT registration as an RPGST in lieu of Associate's Degree or diploma. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer skills. Demonstrates skills in leadership, problem-solving, continuous improvement, verbal and written communication and team building. Flexibility in order to accommodate patient/department needs.
License or certification
Current BLS certification. BRPT registration as an RPSGT within 2 years of becoming eligible to sit for the BRPT registration examination.
$29.37- $44.09 / hour
Hours / Pay period
Hours: 7:30pm-7:00am, 3 days per week
Staffs the NWWI regional sites- Eau Claire/Menomonie/Barron/
Holiday Schedule upon request
