Provides operational support to Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Applies operational expertise to assist in implementing management strategies that attain institutional and Education goals. Provides an operational perspective for program decisions. Participates in financial budgeting and monitoring of Education resources. Communicates ideas, coaches, and mentors and facilitates employment and performance management of Education personnel. Implements policies that comply with regulatory and accreditation standards, and are consistent with other Mayo policies. Maintains an understanding of education regulations and accreditation requirements to assist Mayo programs in gaining accreditation and remaining accredited. Provides follow-through to committees responsible for Education activities and participates on other committees or task forces as assigned. May supervise staff. Facilitates the coordination of projects including financial analysis, problem solving, and team collaboration. Partners in the support of department projects, policy implementation, and serves as a resource for issues and communications. Performs duties independently and initiates judgment in handling a variety of management issues.
Works remotely 50% or more, business need requires employees to live within a reasonable driving distance of campus.
Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree preferred) with a minimum of (2) years' relevant experience in higher education, health care, business, IT, finance, accounting or project management. Knowledge of Windows software, including databases and spreadsheets.
This position requires a strong attention to details, customer service focus and flexible attitude with the core tasks assigned but the ability to join additional workgroups and projects to represent Student Services as needed.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Project Management or related certifications preferred.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2,372.80, based on a full-time position.
Hours / Pay period
This position will be primarily telework with the need to be on campus for specific tasks approximately 3-5 times/month, as needed. Typical work hours are 8 am - 5 pm.
