Position description

The Department of Dermatology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a highly motivated, full-time, Pediatric Dermatologist to join our growing practice. Medical dermatologists with experience, or strong demonstrable interest in pediatric dermatology will also be considered. This opportunity provides variety in practice seeing dermatologic indications in both pediatric and adult patients seeking multispecialty evaluation, as well as pediatric patients in a community outpatient clinic. The role affords research and educational opportunities that align with personal career interests.

We are seeking exceptional candidates who are passionate about providing excellent care for patients with both simple, as well as complex dermatologic conditions. Interest in interdepartmental collaboration and the development of subspecialty interests are encouraged and will be strongly supported. Our dermatology team is cohesive, collaborative, committed to excellence, and the well-being of our patients and one another.

The successful candidate will join our department of 9 dermatologists including 2 MOHS surgeons and 2 dermatopathologists, 4 APPs and a robust top-tier residency program. The academic practice at Mayo Clinic is considered a regional center of excellence and destination medical center, offering diverse career opportunities in education, regenerative medicine, cross-specialty, and subspecialty clinics, teledermatology, innovation in partnership with the newly established Innovation Exchange, as well as engagement in research, clinical trials, administration, and leadership roles.

License or certification
Candidates must have completed a residency in dermatology accredited by the ACGME and be board-certified / board-eligible by the American Board of Dermatology and eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida. Candidates must also have demonstrated interest in residency education and scholarly activity. Candidates of all academic ranks are encouraged to apply, and opportunities exist for academic advancement.
