The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join our 11 person highly functioning, collaborative group of radiologists. This is a unique opportunity offering a diverse array of both vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures with full support for development and innovation from the department and practice administration.
The position includes a mix of interventional and diagnostic radiology responsibilities (approximately 30-40% IR and 60-70% non-IR work). Skills in general, hospital, ER and trauma imaging are also needed. There are two state of the art Siemens biplane suites shared with cardiology and one Siemens single plane radiology suite on site. A new state-of-the-art replacement hospital is now under construction. The new six-floor hospital including new dedicated IR suite will further enhance our ability to provide Mayo Clinic care to patients in the La Crosse area and give you a great new modern place to work.
- Opportunity to bring interventional skills new to this practice.
- Relatively low-demand off-hours IR call shared with 1 other interventional radiologist.
- Supported by excellent relationships with referring MDs
- Mammography skills are desirable but not required.
- All overnights are supported by separate group of Teleradiologists.
- Mon – Fri day shifts with occasional non-IR evenings until 10pm and equally divided weekend day shifts for non-IR.

License or certification
Advanced fellowship training in Interventional Radiology VIR or IR/DR subspecialty certification or eligibility.
