Mayo Clinic Healthcare offers an array of services, including a range of comprehensive health assessments, specialist consultations, concierge medical programmes and second opinion services. We offer expert care to our patients in London and also provide a gateway to a variety of highly skilled specialists and services in the United States.

This position is located in London. Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the U.K. and have a current registered general nurse license with an active NMC pin, minimum 2 years post registration experience . We are looking to recruit nurses form the following speciality cardiology, practice nursing, women’s health, orthopaedics, endoscopy.

The Registered Nurse supports professional nursing practice in this outpatient setting to meet the needs of our patients and their families. Mayo Clinic nurses function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for our patients. The Registered Nurse provides informal leadership through activities such as working in the preceptor role and participating in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (Bank) will meet the following requirements:

Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin, minimum of 2 years post-registration experience or working at a Band 6 NHS level. Prefer candidate with primary care or outpatient clinic experience. 

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritise and co-ordinate own workload. They will be friendly and adaptable—able to work as part of a team and have an awareness of clinical audit and clinical governance and have IT competency.
