The student workers are responsible for maintaining safe and attractive clinic settings. Job duties include using the correct procedures to maintain clean and sanitary surfaces, removing and cleaning messes and spills, and restocking supplies. Individuals age 18 and under and attending high school will be assigned work that meets all applicable laws.
Mayo Clinic will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.
Must be age 16-18 and attending high school. Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand English. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting.
Customer service experience preferred. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow.
Minimum rate is $15.30 based upon union contract.
Hours / Pay period
Students will be offered the opportunity to sign up for short shifts that work with their busy schedule on a week-to-week basis.
Flexible days of the week are available. 2- or 4-hour shifts (i.e., 5:30-7:30PM and/or 7:30-9:30PM). Must be able to work at least four hours per week.
Weekend hours may be available.

Nurse Training Programs
The Nurse Residency Program at Mayo Clinic Health System Northwest Wisconsin is a year-long education program that provides you an additional opportunity as a newly licensed nurse to develop your leadership skills and receive support during your transition from student nurse to competent professional nurse.
