Responsibilities
The Mayo Clinic Health System has an opening within PM&R for a Physiatrist to join our Southwest Minnesota Region. Mayo Clinic Health System connects Mayo Clinic's renowned expertise in patient care, research and education with Mayo's community-focused multi-specialty groups in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. Mayo Clinic Health System has more than 950 physicians that practice in 75 communities.
The Southwest Minnesota region of Mayo Clinic Health System provides chronic, urgent and preventive services. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of our patients by inspiring hope and contributing to health and well-being by providing the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, education and research. Our growing integrated health care system provides the region with quality care backed by a team of highly-trained specialists, close to home.
Practice Details:
- Outpatient only practice working Monday through Friday. No call, no weekends.
- Primary practice location in beautiful Mankato, MN; potential for outreach in other SW region clinics
- Physician must have an interest in MSK and medical spine management. Proficiency with ultrasound guided procedures highly desired.
- Opportunities to work with NCAA and high school athletics based on training and interest.
- Strong PT staff, strong collaborations with orthopedics and sports medicine, pain management, neurology and neuro-surgery departments as part of multidisciplinary spine and sports medicine programs.
- Interest in spasticity management, electrodiagnostics, bracing/amputee, and other areas welcome.
- Leadership and career growth opportunities.
General physiatry and sports medicine fellowship trained physiatrists are all welcome to apply.

Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota.
