Responsibilities
A Family Physician is needed to join the Family Medicine physicians at our practice in Onalaska, Wisconsin. This position is a combination of Clinic and Same Day Clinic. This regional medical facility is part of Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare and also is home to several on site specialty practices (35+ total physicians). The main campus (250-bed hospital) is located just a few miles south in La Crosse. The Onalaska Clinic has onsite radiology/laboratory services including MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound, Renal Dialysis Unit, Fertility Clinic and multiple on-site specialties including Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, OB/Gyn, ENT/Audiology, Cardiology and others.
Onalaska, Wisconsin, has a population of 18,000 and is one of the fastest growing areas in west central Wisconsin. Located in the Mississippi River Valley just north of La Crosse, the community of Onalaska offers the atmosphere of a small city with convenient access to the activities available in La Crosse (city of 52,000). Onalaska has a family environment with excellent schools, both public and parochial. The area offers unlimited, four-season recreational, cultural and educational opportunities.
