Position description
The Department of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine at Mayo Clinic in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatrician to join a physician lead organization in a community practice. The ideal candidate will join other experienced Pediatricians including a team of Pediatric outreach sub-specialists, inpatient Pediatricians, and in house Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.

Duties include full-scope outpatient pediatric direct patient care, as well as opportunities for educating medical students and Family Medicine residents. The average expected number of patients per day is 15-20 in the outpatient clinic after a reasonable ramp-up period; clinic hours are M-F 8am to 5pm.

La Crosse, WI, is a city of 52,000 with a metro area of 120,000 in the Upper Mississippi River Valley, located between Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, and Madison, WI. The area offers unlimited, four-season recreational opportunities (biking, golf, hiking the bluffs and cross-country/downhill skiing). We have a great family environment that is safe and has high-quality schools, including two universities and a technical college. There are numerous sporting events, a local symphony orchestra, theaters, a children’s museum, and a civic center.
