The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible anesthesiologist to join our Liver Transplantation team which currently has 8 physicians. We are one of the highest volume centers in the US on pace to perform 200 adult liver transplants in 2021. Candidates with fellowship training or expertise in liver transplant anesthesiology, TEE skills, and a strong track record or sincere interest in clinical research, and education are encouraged to apply. The position also includes significant time outside of liver transplant performing a wide range of adult non-cardiac procedures including complex neurosurgery. Fellowship trained cardiac anesthesiologists with an interest in liver transplantation will also be considered although this is not a cardiac position. This opportunity includes an academic appointment within the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.

Our department provides support for a robust procedural practice on a single campus and is comprised of 38 board-certified physicians, over 85 CRNA's, 9 residents, and 12 anesthesiology techs who are committed to providing the highest-level clinical care.
