Position description
Monitors and directs patient flow through the general imaging department. Assists with supervisory duties and covers in the supervisor's absence. Ensures high quality films of all types for use in medical diagnosis. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program. Minimum two years technologist experience required.


Additional qualifications
Knowledge and technical competence with general radiographic equipment and procedures required. Ability to work independently and in a team environment making decisions and directing work and patient flow to achieve maximum operational efficiency required. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.

License or certification
ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and Arizona Certified Radiologic Technologist credential are required. Basic Life Support Certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Competency.
