  • Shared evenings/night coverage among a large physician group
  • Ample opportunities for teaching residents, fellows, medical students and NPPA students
  • Closed ICU – hospitalist can work in a telemetry progressive care unit
  • Practice opportunities in geriatrics, procedures, oncology/hematology, telemetry, patient flow; depending on interests and experience
  • Very competitive income and a comprehensive benefit package, including relocationM

Mayo Clinic offers an unparalleled opportunity to practice as an academic hospitalist.  Physicians are supported to pursue education and research in a collegial and well-resourced academic environment.  A reasonable clinic workload allows for more time with patients, scholarly pursuits and work-life balance.

Strong communication skills are of paramount importance at Mayo Clinic.  The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator to patients, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
