Position description
The Division of Community Internal Medicine (CIM) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, invites applications for the position of Internist. The Division of Community Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care is a leader in the delivery, education and research of high-value, equitable primary care for patient populations with complex needs.
The division supports career flexibility that allows individuals to pursue diverse clinical, educational and scholarly activities. Physicians deliver high-quality longitudinal care in a variety of clinical settings (outpatient primary care and specialty care, inpatient, skilled nursing facilities, telemedicine, and home-based care). Furthermore, we educate the next generation in the specialties of internal medicine, geriatrics and palliative care at the levels of undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education. Finally, we lead innovative discovery to transform care for patient populations with complex needs.
This growing academic practice provides support for faculty in developing their academic and educational pursuits. License or certification
Qualified candidates should be board-certified internal medicine physicians. Preference will be given to those candidates with advanced training in sub-specialty fellowship training such as geriatrics, palliative medicine, preventive medicine, etc. or demonstrated scholarly activity.
