To provide and assist with the direct care of the elderly resident. To assist with activities of daily living, promoting the highest practicable level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. To have a working awareness of state and federal regulations. Responsible to provide direct care duties in a timely manner, interact politely and professionally with Health Center residents, family members, visitors, and staff. Float to other areas of Charter House.
Qualifications
Nursing Assistant Certification required and must be listed on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry.
Previous experience with the geriatric population is preferred but not required. Must be able to work independently. Requires good communication and human relation skills to interact with Health Service and Charter House staff. Strong problem solving skills are necessary. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress. Works varied hours which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends with rotating days off.

There are variable FTE and variable hours for this position. Hours, FTE and available areas will be discussed at point of interview to determine best fit.
