The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Ultrasound, seeks to hire a board certified/eligible cardiologist with advanced echocardiography training (≥15-18 months of echo fellowship training with 9 months or greater of level 3) and experience in academic echocardiography. In addition to responsibilities with transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, this individual will help support our growing practice involving echocardiographic guidance and support of interventional and intraoperative procedures. Stress echocardiography reading privileges will be considered, if desired. Responsibilities will include providing echo education to fellows and students and contributing to the academic mission of the Division. Additional responsibilities would include hospital service rotation and participation in a clinic which is aligned with the individuals’ expertise.
