Position description
This is a full time remote position within the United States.
The Digital Pathology Unit within the Clinical Laboratory Support Sections is seeking a highly motivated, high-performing, experienced IT SR Analyst Programmer/DevOps professional to join the team. Candidates must have strong leadership, interpersonal skills and be versed in Agile and DevOps concepts. The position will have development responsibilities on the team. Technical mentorship for others is an expected and key aspect of the position. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting infrastructure as well as experienced in the Google Cloud Platform. The position leads the effort to operationalize DevOps for the Digital Pathology Platform and set best practices of DevOps for the unit.
Preferred candidates will be well-versed in several technology areas including:
- Google Cloud Platform and related technologies
- Agile Development methodologies
- Azure Terraform (IaC) code development and deployment
- Azure DevOps
- CI / CD
- Web Development
- Work with team to generate test scripts to validate environment build
- Ability to document, train others on the process, demonstrate capabilities
- Customer Support
- Database, relational and non-relational

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience, including 1 year demonstrated technical experience;
Or, Associate’s degree and 7 years’ experience, including 1 year demonstrated technical experience.
Additional qualifications
Applies effective system design principles and software development methodologies. Demonstrated ability to multi-task among multiple complex assigned tasks/projects. Evidence of strong communication, meeting management, and organizational skills and ability to adjust the message as appropriate to the audiences of varying technical capabilities. Evidence of project management skills. Possesses an objective and positive attitude with all tasks and projects. Possesses a high level of project and deliverable consistency through demonstrated repeatable and reliable performance. Evidence of ability to take initiative and proactive on starting tasks and assignments and ability to work independently. Experience working in healthcare technology. Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications. Masters degree in applicable field preferred.
