The NP/CNS works collaboratively in the Integrated Behavioral Health primary care practice as part of a multi-specialty team with Primary Care Providers, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, RN Care Coordinators, and other allied health staff.  Practice locations may vary based upon patient and care team needs and may include any of the Mayo Clinic Rochester/Kasson Primary Care locations. The mission of the IBH division is to improve behavioral health outcomes for our primary care population of over 156,000 patients by increasing access, reducing stigma and providing cost effective evidence-based behavioral health services in the primary care setting.  The division is implementing innovative treatment models and systematically studying outcomes to improve care, support dissemination, and share with other healthcare organizations via scholarly activity.  Opportunities for scholarship and clinical teaching are available for interested candidates.

A Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) is desirable, but not required. Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal effectiveness. Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient needs and NP/CNS workload. Ability to adapt to fluid clinical situations within the patient care setting, and manage time effectively.
