The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a full time pediatric sleep medicine physician for our Center for Sleep Medicine. The ideal candidate will be board certified/board eligible in sleep medicine and also be board certified/board eligible in pediatric neurology. This individual should demonstrate clinical excellence as well as a commitment to education and scholarship.
The Center for Sleep Medicine at Mayo Clinic is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and integrated within the Division of Adult Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The Center has a vibrant multidisciplinary practice comprised of providers from pediatrics, pulmonary and critical care, neurology, psychiatry, family medicine, sleep surgery, and dentistry. The Section of Pediatric Sleep Medicine includes three physicians with backgrounds in pediatrics, pediatric pulmonology, and pediatric neurology. We have a pediatric advanced practice provider who evaluates and treats children with pediatric sleep disorders.
Our providers work closely with other pediatric subspecialties and pediatric multidisciplinary clinics within the comprehensive Mayo Clinic Children’s Center. We collaborate with our adult sleep medicine colleagues and are integral to our accredited sleep medicine fellowship. Our pediatric section is committed to quality improvement, medical education, and research in pediatric sleep medicine. Current members of our section are active on national committees and involved in national publications. Candidates should have a strong academic background and interest in academic productivity. This position will be primarily focused on pediatric sleep medicine and will include an academic appointment with the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic.
