Position description
Producer – Brand Design & Creative Strategy is responsible for oversight, coordination, collaboration and execution of multimedia content from concept to delivery. This includes video, photography, and other multimedia needs. Consistently manages multiple large projects simultaneously, at all stages of production. As needed, conducts RFPs, develops production budgets and schedules, and provides oversight to multiple vendors on project process, requirements, and visual guidelines. This position will source, develop relationships, and provide guidance for external vendors and freelancers, as well as work closely with internal team members across the organization. Responsible for moderate level of administrative, logistical and technical duties in all stages of video and multimedia production.
Qualifications
7 years of relevant experience producing video or other related multimedia.
Additional qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. An established portfolio of video and multimedia content demonstrating a range in production complexity, storytelling, creative approach, content objectives, campaigns, or series. Previous experience in digital, video, rich media, motion, photography, emerging media, and other creative and communications disciplines preferred. Experience working in an agency (external or in-house) setting strongly preferred. A strong understanding of existing video technologies, and demonstrated experience identifying and executing new ways of production. Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement and taking a strategic standpoint. Should be a strategic thinker and capable doer. Must be self-motivated and adept at managing their own workload. Must be able to lead and advance multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within the designated timelines, while maintaining high standards for execution, accuracy, and attention to detail. Must have demonstrated experience at all levels and phases of production as a hands-on producer, contributing to one or more portfolios and service lines. Should have experience with vendor sourcing and management and selecting the right resources and skillsets for a given project. Must be able to present and share best practices and lead continuous improvement projects. Should be comfortable working within established brand guidelines while continuing to find new and interesting ways to express the brand within those guidelines. Must understand and defend the importance of brand consistency.
Must be a consistent, accountable team player who leads by positive example ensuring solid chemistry and has zero ego or attitude. Requires a driven work ethic, a responsibility to the brand, and a desire to contribute to the collaborative culture at Mayo Clinic. Must have a passion for creative innovation, and a demonstrated ability to drive new ideas and bring in new concepts or methodologies and/or efficiencies. Being a nice person is non-negotiable.

This position is a Supplemental role, and produces a variety of overflow work on an as needed basis. Hours are flexible and range from 0 to 30 per week.
Although a remote position, this position requires frequent visits (currently up to 50% of the job) to one of our campus locations (Rochester, MN; Jacksonville, FL; Phoenix, AZ) for productions, location scouts, etc.
