The surgical technologist/certified surgical technologist (ST/CST) in the Mayo Clinic Department of Nursing Travel Pool will provide staffing support across Mayo Clinic nursing sites (Arizona, Florida, Minnesota & Wisconsin) as determined by staffing and patient care needs.As a Mayo Clinic employee, the Staffing Pool ST/CST actualizes Mayo Clinic core values and culture. The ST/CST will travel on a routine basis to various locations. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in work assignments and work schedules.

QualificationsGraduate from an accredited Surgical Tech Program required. Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) required within 18 months of hire.
- Must have at least 1 year of surgical tech experience
- Must be in good standing related to performance
- If a current Mayo Clinic employee, must have been in current position for one year prior to applying
- Expected to travel across multiple Mayo Clinic sites including Arizona, Florida, Minnesota & Wisconsin. Additional details about travel expectations will be discussed during the interview process
Additional qualificationsOperating Room Technologist experience preferred. Requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
License or certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) required within 18 months of hire.
