Position description
The Technology Analyst 1 role is responsible for evaluating business processes, making recommendations, developing innovative solutions, and improving processes using digital standards and technology. Analyst 1’s will make significant contributions to support optimization for the Mayo Clinic Stores (MCS), orchestrating systems support, supply chain and revenue management initiatives, process automation, and bringing innovation to the Mayo Clinic Store.

The Technology Analyst within the Mayo Clinic Stores is responsible for daily application support of Home Medical Equipment software (HDMS) used within the Mayo Clinic Stores, Revenue Cycle business office, and Pharmacy in a on premise envoirnment. Daily duties include troubleshooting of issues reported by staff, working to resolve, and/or triage issues to other Mayo support teams when appropriate. Daily application support duties included answering HDMS application questions (i.e. issues, how to, etc.) , ensuring functionality and connection of hardware (i.e. printer, document scanners, barcode scanners, credit card devices, cash drawer) and other HDMS connected applications support (Vendor Link, PO automation to Lawson, Digital Shipper, OnBase, Payment Mate). Provisioning of access to system applications.

Analyst will interact with third party software provider (USSI) to submit enhancement requests and collaborate with Mayo IT and store staff on deployment/fixes. Technology Analyst will lead HDMS application updates, perform regression testing of existing functionality, test new functionality, create and maintain proper change documentation and facilitate the application deployment process.

Role is responsible for ad hoc report and dashboard creation utilizing analytics and automation tools, SQL, or similar tools. Management and maintenance of scheduled reports utilized in BOXI (BOBJ environment).

Ideal candidate has good organizational and investigative skills. Can work independently. Comfortable in work atmosphere where answers are not clearly defined through documented SOPs. Must like discovering solutions through research and trial and error. Preferred candidates will have experiences with integrated systems, APIs, and experienced in analytics (Crystal, Alteryx, Tableau, BOXI) and automation tools (Uipath).

The role is expected to have a background in supply chain, finance, engineering or healthcare, with expertise in digital technology, including modern Analytics, Process Automation, Application Programming Interfaces and Product Management. Analysts need to be skilled in process improvement, innovation, project management, and application support and/or configuration experience with Post-Acute Healthcare Software Solutions, SCM or Finance technology, ERP/EHR/large integrated system, and/or data warehouses. Analysts must exhibit initiative and organizational skills, as well as possess ability to inspire trust and confidence, communicate effectively with internal and external audiences and demonstrate ability to maintain outstanding customer relations. Requires individual who is motivated, can effectively multi-task, and handles ambiguity well.

Role responsibilities include being an active member of applicable systems teams (e.g. project teams, coordination, and/or functional areas for business) to sustain long-term goals through consultation, process improvement and digital transformation. Technology Analysts must stay abreast of current industry trends and establish new methodologies for data driven processes and digital enablement. May be asked to participate in industry advisory and/or user groups. Must be able to articulate in both oral and written communications, including presentations with the ability to logically translate and disseminate technology insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience in health care, engineering, analytics, finance, supply chain or information systems; certifications may be considered in lieu of experience; Or, Master's degree in health care, data management, data science, information systems or business with three (3) years' relevant experience in noted areas; certifications may be considered in lieu of experience.

Additional qualifications
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to function independently required.
• Professional and culturally astute communication skills (both written and verbal) are required, including ability to generate and deliver executive-level presentations.
• Highly developed understanding of Finance and/or SCM end-to-end business processes; including systems utilized.
• Demonstrated abilities in business process improvement, innovation and planning.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience supporting an ERP system, integrated systems, and/or using modern analytics and automation tools, SQL or similar tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a team environment and develop constructive working relationships with others.
• Demonstrated abilities in developing relationships with colleagues, customers, executives and vendors in order to influence, facilitate and enhance SCM best business practices.
• Strong investigational skills, shows attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Solid customer-service and/or business consulting skills.
• Capable of being persuasive and able to lead teams through significant change.

License or certification
Mayo Quality Fellows Silver and Gold Certification, Lean/Six Sigma, BA, PMP, CPA preferred

$69,160 - $96,844.80 / year
