This clinical health psychologist position will involve a diverse patient population with complex medical problems typical of a major tertiary referral center. The successful candidate would join the Division of Clinical Health Psychology with 5 clinical health psychologists (specializing in chronic pain, transplant, bariatric surgery, gastroenterology, and oncology), 5 LCSW therapists and 1 masters-level addiction counselor as well as a department with 10 psychiatrists and 5 neuropsychologists. We are a highly collaborative professional group, who work with specialized multi-disciplinary care teams throughout the hospital, clinic, and medical school. The ideal candidate will have expertise as a clinical health psychologist providing empirically-supported evaluation and individual and group-based treatment interventions in one or more of the following priority specialty areas with willingness to expand their proficiency in the other domains, including but not limited to psycho-oncology, complex gastrointestinal conditions, functional somatic symptom disorders, candidates for bariatric surgery and non-surgical weight loss, chronic pain management, and pre- and post- transplant consultation.
