Responsibilities

A Family Physician is needed to join eight other physicians at our growing practice in Tomah, Wisconsin. The Tomah clinic family physicians share equally in general call (will be 1:9 with the OB call being 1:5).

  • The practice provides 1:9 hospitalist coverage to the local community hospital.
  • Full backup from all subspecialties.
  • OB is optional.

This practice opportunity offers a stable, high-quality Family Medicine group practice in a small community with the convenience of the local hospital, Tomah Health. The Tomah clinic staff receive support from Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare's main clinic/250-bed hospital in La Crosse, WI, which is located 45 miles from Tomah. Tomah Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access community hospital and includes in-house MRI and updated CT. The hospital contracts for Emergency Room coverage. The on-call Tomah clinic hospitalist physician is called for admissions. Outreach services provided at Tomah by Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare specialists include allergy, audiology, ENT, cardiology, oncology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and urology

Qualifications: Candidates must be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
