Position description
The Assistant Director provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of pharmacy operational activities. Responsible for coordination of human and material resources, quality and safety initiatives, and departmental policy and procedures.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Three years experience in institutional or outpatient pharmacy practice.

Additional qualifications
The following additional training and experience is preferred: Completion of a PGY1 residency or advanced degree in business (MS, MBA, MHA). Three to five years experience in institutional or outpatient pharmacy practice with one year functioning in a supervisory capacity.
License or certification
Eligible for licensure by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. Eligible for licensure as a Florida consultant pharmacist.

Schedule details
Primarily weekdays with an on-call rotation. Availability afterhours, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the department.
