Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a leader to Chair the Division of Endocrinology. Mayo Clinic founders provided the vision of distinction and passion for innovative thinking and excellence which established Mayo's legacy. The division chair in Endocrinology would provide overall strategic direction and oversee the ongoing performance of division, be responsible for recruitment and retention of outstanding staff, and ensure the alignment and development of critical resources to achieve goals for each of the three Mayo shields: clinical practice, research, and education.
The selected candidates must have a proven track record of leadership experience and academic accomplishments to be successful in this unique opportunity to provide strategic leadership to the division of Endocrinology that aligns with Mayo Clinic values and patient focus. The candidate must be able to effectively collaborate with a broad spectrum of expert clinicians and scientists while maintaining a high quality of patient care and high patient satisfaction. Consideration will be given to candidates who hold the academic rank of associate professor or higher.
Mayo Clinic's top-ranked team of endocrinologists are equipped to treat a range of endocrine disorders. They work closely with Mayo physicians including primary care providers and specialists in ophthalmology, otolaryngology, radiation oncology, surgery, women’s health, transplantation and other specialty areas to provide a multidisciplinary approach to each patient’s medical problems, including:
