Facilities & System Support
To serve as an expert resource for the technology systems and applications primarily within the non-health care operations at Charter House. To be familiar with all technology systems and be able to identify potential benefits and efficiencies that could be derived through integration or collaboration of two or more systems. To provide computer support and training to Charter House residents and staff. Must be knowledgeable with computer hardware and software applications for business and residential computer systems as well as Networking and WiFi support. Provides troubleshooting intervention to optimize software support. Works primarily on resident and non-healthcare computer systems. Supports all non-Mayo software packages at Charter House. Provides education and training to residents and staff for computer operations. Serves in a project management lead role and or provides critical technology support for projects related to IT systems. Provides support for Charter House websites and trains others to be able to add content to these sites. Requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple activities. Willingness and ability to learn user specific applications to provide trouble shooting, support and training.
Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, along with 3-5 years computer/technology experience is required. Must be able to work independently and have schedule flexibility. Broad knowledge of various software and systems - Microsoft Office, Photoshop, MAC, iPad, Windows, Smartphone and systems troubleshooting. Ability to learn project management software and utilize this tool in a leadership or supporting role with ad hoc work groups. Interpersonal skills, working with elderly, family members and coworkers is essential.
BS in Computer Science or related field preferred. Experience with Crystal Reporting with SQL, web development, Cisco networking and computer networking preferred. Teaching and instructional experience is also preferred.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $21.75 per hour.
Flexible schedule. Weekdays.
As may be required to support technology needs of Charter House.
