The Department of Dermatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN invites applications for an open position in the Division of Dermatopathology and Cutaneous Immunopathology. The ideal candidate will have an interest in developing an academic career in dermatopathology, cutaneous immunopathology and complex medical dermatology. Additional on-the-job training in cutaneous immunopathology as needed, is offered. There are ample opportunities to engage in research, practice innovation and education.
The Division of Dermatopathology and Cutaneous Immunopathology enjoys the benefits of serving in an integrated practice embedded in the clinical and surgical dermatology practices. This integration facilitates consultation and clinical and pathological correlation for highest quality diagnostic care. Current division members hold joint appointments in and enjoy a strong collaborative relationship with the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology which offers easy access to pathology expertise across all major subspecialty areas in anatomic pathology.
We enjoy state-of-the-art facilities, enthusiastic trainees who actively participate in dermatopathology rotations and a well-established ACGME-approved fellowship program with 2 fellows per year.

License or certification
Candidates must be an MD/DO with a Minnesota medical license or eligibility for a Minnesota license and will have completed a residency in dermatology accredited by the ACGME such that the candidate may become certified, or has already been certified, by the American Board of Dermatology. Additionally, the candidate will have completed an ACGME Fellowship in Dermatopathology, and should be Board Certified or eligible to be certified in Dermatopathology.
