Position description
In alignment with the MCL sales process and in collaboration with MCS operations, has overall accountability for developing the NAE team to develop, embrace and execute at the most strategic of levels in assigned accounts. Effectively and collaboratively works with other internal Mayo organizations' departments to optimize revenue growth and client satisfaction. Ensures client engagement strategies are aligned with the mission, values, and culture of Mayo Clinic and that they result in employee development and revenue growth. Able to lead the NAE team transformation to selling more strategic and complex multi-year engagements. Creates a culture of success, collaboration and ongoing business goal achievement. Helps define, lead and manage MCL's strategic and national account approach and identifies and refines best sales practices with peers. Duties also include recruiting, developing and managing senior-level sales talent, supporting the selling process through direct engagement with national and hospital account sales teams and management. Responsible for co-developing the client engagement strategy with the Client executive leadership. Key measures of success include meeting or exceeding targets for sales revenue, sales profit, client retention, winning new health systems, and improving client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, management or related field and five years of sales related experience.

Additional qualifications
Previous experience preferred managing teams or national account strategies. The ideal candidate has led and managed sales teams engaging with strategic accounts in the healthcare and/or consulting services industries. Experience in and commitment to executing with precision, high-performance and disciplined sales management, specifically in the areas of strategic account management and pipeline development and progression is a critical per-requisite. Master's degree preferred. Health care industry preferred. Must have excellent human relations, management, and communications skills. Must be accountable, adaptable, flexible, creative, dependable, responsible, and able to perform well within internal and external multi-functional environments. Ability to develop strategic plans and manage several people, projects or tasks simultaneously and to exercise appropriate judgment when developing, deploying and/or overseeing plans, projects and tasks. Demonstrated managerial, decision-making and problem-solving ability and oversight of self and others.
