Mayo Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a talented Information Systems leader to join our institution. The Director of Research Information Systems is responsible for overseeing and directing the strategic and operational elements of Research Information Systems (including Digital Technologies and Web Services), Information Security, Privacy, System Integration, and Data Management & Protection to drive the advancement of research priorities. This critical role will provide guidance and direction to the research systems staff to ensure projects and initiatives are completed successfully (on-time and on-budget). The Director will engage enterprise Information Technology (IT) leadership, research leadership and the broader research community in creating and executing a strategy that blends business and technology requirements that advance research strategy.
|Qualified candidates will have a Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology or health-related field and a minimum 8 years of broad-based professional experience. We are seeking candidates with demonstrated experience in managing information systems and technology, information security, privacy, project management, and operations and/or systems analysis with broad-based key institutional initiatives.|
