Mayo Clinic's Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, & Nutrition is one of the largest in the world, with locations in Arizona, Florida, Minnesota and several communities throughout the Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS). Mayo Clinic's top-ranked team of endocrinologists evaluate the relationship between nutrition and human disease to improve and maintain a person's health, and are equipped to treat a range of endocrine disorders and dysfunctions. They work closely with Mayo specialists in ophthalmology, otolaryngology, radiation oncology, surgery, obstetrics, transplantation and other specialty areas to provide a multidisciplinary approach to a person's medical problems.
Position description

The Division of Endocrinology in Florida is seeking a candidate for a full-time faculty position committed to clinical and academic excellence with the desire to work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team including certified diabetes educators, advanced practice providers, nutritionists, GME trainees of various levels and other relevant medical specialties. Opportunities include a leadership role for inpatient diabetes care to include pursuits to develop and use new technologies and artificial intelligence to improve glucose monitoring and management, collaboration with a busy organ transplant program, including an active pancreatic transplant service, and contribute to the success of Mayo Clinic’s “Bold. Forward 2030” strategic plan. The division is comprised of six board-certified endocrinologists and four nurse practitioners and supports a two year ACGME accredited fellowship in endocrinology and welcomes one fellow each year.

This opportunity is part of an academically oriented practice combined with clinical research opportunities. The successful candidate will hold the academic rank of Assistant Professor or higher and have demonstrated accomplishments in clinical or translational research and will include an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Attention will be given to those applicants with expertise in the field of Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders.





License or certification
