Responsible for coordinating activities of workers engaged in maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe and attractive environment for the hospital, clinic, and outlying properties; responsible for quality inspections, employee training and supply inventories; assists in meeting appropriate regulatory standards, departmental and corporate policies and procedures. Good communication and delegation skills required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year environmental services experience in a health care facility preferred. Specialized training related to environmental services. Familiar with basic equipment required for job. Proficient in the use of basic hand tools. Strong communication skills required. General computer knowledge and ability to operate programs related to areas of responsibilities.
License or certification
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with Mayo Clinic Policy.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $14.88 per hour.
Must be available to work variable hours between 8:00am and 7:00pm
Every other weekend based on staffing and business needs.
