Position description
Performs tasks such as reconciliations, data entry, standard report preparation, analysis and/or routine compliance activities. Works in a team environment providing support to finance analysts and leadership under limited supervision. Actively communicates and presents information to various audiences. Uses reporting tools to develop management financial information. Audits and reconciles data in a timely manner to ensure reasonableness and accuracy of information. Responsible for processing and analyzing financial transactions (such as demographic, payment, and/or collection transactions) using system applications and team processes, focusing on each customer. Makes independent decisions that require individual and/or team analysis, reasoning, and problem solving. Interprets, applies, and communicates Mayo Clinic policies regarding medical and financial aspects of patient care to assure optimal reimbursement for both the patient and Mayo Clinic.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Other business-related bachelor's degrees require a minimum of two years applicable accounting or finance experience.
Additional qualifications
Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Fluency in English required.
A master degree in accounting or finance, a MBA, MHA, CPA (active or inactive), CMA or CIA can be substituted for one year experience. Has a solid understanding of accounting and finance practices. Has solid knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong investigational skills, shows attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Solid customer-service skills; understands and addresses customer needs in a timely manner. Prefer knowledge of large accounting and/or grant management systems. Ability to work in a team environment and develop constructive working relationships with others.
