The primary purpose of the Graduate Research Employment Program (GREP) is to provide an up to 2 year post-baccalaureate laboratory research experience in basic science or translational research. The student will receives direction from the lab Supervisor and Principal Investigator. One or more mentors will be assigned to the student to provide instruction, guidance and to assess performance. The student is responsible for observing the functions and processes of the assigned work unit. In addition, the student may be given selected work assignments to reinforce the learning experience, to assess the performance levels and to provide benefit to the work unit. The student will be responsible for completing all related assignments and reports for Mayo Clinic. Works cooperatively with other laboratory personnel and must be responsive to requests for assistance from all levels of allied health staff in the laboratory. (013038)
Requires bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or other relevant fields appropriate for the needs of the research program. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to qualify. This position has a predetermined rate of $14.50 per hour.
