Position description
Assists the Histotechnologist, Histotechnician, Pathologists, and Pathologist's Assistants in receiving and processing tissues, grossing lab accessioning and pathology waste tissue disposal in the morgue, equipment maintenance, equipment Quality Control.
Qualifications
High School diploma required. Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred. None required, but some hospital experience preferred.
Additional qualifications
Basic knowledge of Biology / Anatomy and Physiology preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology helpful. Must be able to work irregular hours (rotating shifts) and evenings upon occasion.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $15.35 per hour.
