IT staff from the Research Application Solutions (RAS) Unit provide data management and processing expertise in support of that role. RAS has an opening for a highly capable person to build and support software for data management and analyses. Development is done in a collaborative environment that includes physicians, PhD scientists, biostatisticians and medical physicists.
The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to design and support scripts or software applications in support of data management, data extraction, and data analysis. The successful candidate should be knowledgeable in the handling and design of repository systems to contribute to the development of internal databases, using PostgreSQL, and have experience with informatics methods used to analyze data. The candidate will be involved in troubleshooting data transfer issues, such as with DICOM, and may also serve as a tester for ADIR Lab Python, BASH, and MATLAB code development efforts.
