DLMP Reporting and Analytics Unit within the Division of Lab Pathology and Extramural Apps is seeking a motivated and result driven individual to directly oversee activities of programmers who develop Business Intelligence reports, Tableau dashboards and provide other data analytics support for various DLMP divisions and labs. The successful candidate will be responsible for project results and goals set by senior section and division leadership. This position requires close collaboration and coordination with groups across various DLMP divisions. He/she will gain consensus of stakeholders, generates plans that takes into account both immediate and strategic priorities and maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering successful projects. This individual will work closely with reporting teams from various labs and related divisions to understand their needs, prioritize the day to day queue and implement solutions that consider strategic objectives and technical alternatives. The successful candidate is expected to have experience with data analysis, data visualization and analytics projects preferably with an healthcare organization.
Successful candidate will assist Service Delivery Manager with various administrative tasks such as managing customer relationship, creating and managing good practices, standards and processes. As this team considers new data platform (Google Cloud) and other data delivery mechanisms, successful candidate will be expected to become drivers of these changes. This individual will also help with personnel management of the team. Candidates must be willing to stay in the position for a minimum of 2 years.
- 4+ Years of demonstrated leadership experience.
- Experience with Data Analytics and Business Intelligence tools, processes and projects.
- Experience with Agile Development Methodologies.
- Experience with Lab data and reporting will be considered a plus.
- Experience with managing complex projects.
- Ability to multi-task among multiple tasks/projects.
- Mentoring and nurturing future team leaders with supervisor.
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience including 3 years’ of demonstrated leadership experience;
Or, Associates degree and 9 years’ experience including 3 years’ demonstrated leadership experience.
Evidence of strong communication, organization, problem solving, and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills including conflict resolution. Demonstrated history of continuing education in personnel and administrative processes. Experience with committee and consensus driven organizations. Some experience with personnel management, resource allocation, coaching and mentoring.
Experience working in healthcare technology. Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications. Masters degree in applicable field preferred.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3,624.80, based on a full-time position.
