Mayo Clinic IT Division seeking an IT Project Assistant. This position is non-exempt classified.
Provides project planning, documentation and operational support to assigned or designated project teams and operational process owners.
Performs project and portfolio management related operational activities.
Communicates project and operational support needs and issue priorities to vendor or team member.
Escalates issues to appropriate management or team member.
Supports workflow analysis, requirement gathering and documentation activities.
May assist with testing of software and documentation of findings.
May manage a component of a project, or small IT projects, within approved scope, schedule, resources and quality baseline with oversight by project manager(s) or IT management.
Performs additional job-related functions as detailed by immediate supervisor.
This position can be located at any Mayo location across Arizona, Florida, Minnesota or Wisconsin.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 1 year healthcare experience, OR
Associate's Degree in a related field with 3 years of healthcare experience; OR, a High School Diploma with 5 years of experience.

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management tools, e.g. Microsoft Project.
Demonstrated skill in using desktop/office efficiency tools, e.g. MS Excel, MS Word.
Demonstrated communication skills, including ability to articulate complex topics to teams and management.
Demonstrated excellence in organizational and follow-up skills.
Demonstrated competence in using personal workstation and other office tools.
Self-motivated and seeks assistance as necessary.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $20.95 per hour.
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
