IT Project Assistant with data analytic and project management skills to help the Clinical Knowledge Management Systems Project Management Office with metrics and senior staff with project administrative functions . Ideal candidate will have mastery of Excel advance functions with some exposure to project management processes. Tableau and or Clarity experience would be a plus.
Position description
This is a full time telework, limited tenure position through April 2023.

Provides project planning, documentation and administrative support to assigned or designated project teams.
Develops, updates and communicates project timelines, milestones and tasks.
Assists with development and tracking of project budget.
Documents software support and process issues.
Communicates project needs and issue priorities to vendor or development team.
Escalates issues to appropriate management, vendor or development team.
Supports workflow analysis, requirement gathering and documentation activities.
May assist with testing of software and documentation of findings.
May manage a component of a project, or small IT projects, within approved scope, schedule, resources and quality baseline with oversight by project manager(s) or IT management.
Performs additional job-related functions as detailed by immediate supervisor.

This is a limited tenure position. Mayo Clinic will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.
Qualifications
High School Diploma with 5 years of experience; Associate's Degree in related field with 3 years' healthcare experience; OR, a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 1 year healthcare experience.
Additional qualifications
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management tools, e.g. Microsoft Project.
Demonstrated skill in using desktop/office efficiency tools, e.g. MS Excel, MS Word.
Demonstrated communication skills, including ability to articulate complex topics to teams and management.
Demonstrated excellence in organizational and follow-up skills.
Demonstrated competence in using personal workstation and other office tools.
Self-motivated and seeks assistance as necessary.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $21.37 per hour.
