Position description
Responsible for the operation, maintenance and preventive maintenance of plant systems and equipment. Perform duties and carry out responsibilities to ensure a safe working environment for all hospital and maintenance department employees and patients. Utilize skills and knowledge in performing duties to meet or exceed performance expectations and the requirements of all applicable regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent.

2 years of experience in a maintenance related field.

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematic diagrams.

Skilled in use of power and hand tools.

Demonstrates a competence in technical skills such as soldering, plumbing, light electrical repairs, HVAC controls, welding and fabricating.

Valid driver's license to drive company vehicle.

​Must obtain Minnesota Boiler Engineer License 2nd Class B within 2 years of start date.
Additional qualifications
Preferred: 4 years of experience in maintenance.
License or certification
Valid driver's license to drive company vehicle.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $20.80 per hour.
