The position will assume responsibility for the Medicare Part A and B government reimbursement and compliance activities across Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health System. Researches and analyzes new and existing Medicare Part A and B, and other government regulations and policies to identify practice strategies and ensure compliance. May perform Medicare cost reporting responsibilities, government reporting responsibilities, and compliance analysis. Position will interact with administration, physician leadership, accounting, revenue cycle, compliance office, and other operational personnel throughout Mayo Clinic.
A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) with one year of Medicare experience or a Master’s Degree or CPA and a minimum of 2 years’ Medicare experience OR a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years’ Medicare or accounting/finance related experience.
Travel to other Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health Systems sites will be required. Detailed knowledge of cost reporting software, PC applications, financial modeling, Medicare and other government regulations.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3,006, based on a full-time position.
