The Division of Endocrinology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in the inpatient setting. This is an autonomous practice which focuses on the management of diabetes and hyperglycemia in adults with a variety of medical and surgical problems. The division has a rich base of clinical and research experience and has been ranked #1 in US News and World report for 22 consecutive years.

The provision of care includes, but is not limited to, comprehensive evaluation, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosis, and prescription of appropriate therapies.
Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certified as an FNP or ANP; or
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.
BLS certification required.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $4,052.80 based on a full-time position.
8 hour weekday shifts and 12 hour weekend shifts in the in-patient setting with expectation to work approximately 1/6 weekends and 1-2 holidays per year.
