Position description
Introducing a challenging, rewarding opportunity for an advanced practice provider (APP) to join outpatient Hematology at Mayo Clinic. We are seeking candidates who are innovative, collaborative, compassionate and committed to providing the highest quality care to patients. This APP will be an integral member of our outpatient Hematology group practice.

In this position, you will care for adult patients with myeloid hematologic conditions. Your role will include diagnosis, treatment, evaluation and management of acute and chronic myeloid conditions as well as assessing patient educational needs and follow up care. You will work in a team environment with consultants, fellows, nurses, pharmacist, clinical research coordinators, and other support staff.

In the Division of Hematology, you will benefit from professional growth opportunities to participate in research, quality improvement projects, educating and precepting students, participation in journal club, and pursuing leadership and development through academic rank.
Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification as a FNP, ANP or ACNP. DNP preferred.

Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.

Must be eligible for DEA registration.

Additional qualifications
Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Must have demonstrated skill in working collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team. Ability to maintain long-term professional and compassionate relationships with patients, family, and colleagues in difficult circumstances including grief. Hematology background strongly preferred.
