A full time PA / NP is needed to join our Urology Department. This position will include working collaboratively with 2 physicians, 1 PA, nursing staff, and support staff in addition to seeing patients on an increasingly independent calendar. The PA / NP will be expected to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage male and female patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions. Diagnostic procedures such as cystoscopy are common. This is primarily an outpatient position which includes consultations, follow-up visits, pre op, and post op appointments. Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Required: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the WI Board of Medical Practice
Or Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner. Current WI RN license and certification as a FNP or ANP.
Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges
Prefer candidates with 1-2 years' experience as an advance practice provider in Urology OR graduate of an associate provider urology training/fellowship program.

License or certification
Certified or eligible to be certified by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the Wisconsin Board of Medical Practice.
Current Wisconsin RN license and certification as an APNP (or eligible to be certified).
Must be eligible for DEA registration.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
Monday - Friday, clinic hours with expectation for outreach.
