Position description
We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing Vascular Surgery team in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

The Vascular Surgery team in Northwest Wisconsin is a progressive and innovative Vascular surgery practice. Currently, the practice consists of one surgeon and due to recent growth, the practice is recruiting for 1 additional surgeon and 1 APP. Current coverage in vascular surgery is provided by our providers in Cardiovascular Surgery and General Surgery.

The Vascular Surgery team functions as a larger team-based care team that include Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular Surgery and General Surgery. The ideal candidate will have surgical first assist experience, preferably in vascular or related surgery. The team-based atmosphere requires an ability to collaborate and work well as part of a larger team with strong communication skills a must.

The practice will be a mix between routine clinical practice, surgery and academics.
Two years' NP or PA experience in surgical assist is preferred.

Current Wisconsin RN license and certification as an APNP.

Or Physician Assistant certification by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the Wisconsin Board of Medical Practice.

Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.

License or certification
Licensed or eligible in the state of Wisconsin with Advanced Nurse Prescription Authority. NCCPA Certified, or accredited N.P. Program and State Licensed. Must maintain CME and recertification. Current ACLS certification.
