Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
This position is for a Certified Hand Therapist who will be working in an outpatient clinic alongside our orthopedic hand surgeon. Other general OT outpatient and inpatient practice needs may also be included. The Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) is responsible for performing age-specific assessments related to the patient's psychosocial, perceptual motor, functional, and cognitive status. The OTR then develops a plan of care and initiates and manages treatment programs to maximize the patient's functional skills. The OTR provides education related to the treatment program, disease process, and prevention of further injuries to the patient, family/caregiver and other members of the healthcare team.
Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program. Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Wisconsin. Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association, American Red Cross. Hand Therapy Certification Commission (CHT) required.
License or certification

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $1806.72, based on a full-time position.
Monday- Friday for 32 hours per week.
