Position description
As a Occupational Therapist you will be considered a local expert who will work closely with patients, families, and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized care. You will deliver occupational therapy services to include: evaluation and treatment, documentation, and consultation services in the areas of outpatient, acute care and transitional care. You will serve as an advocate and promote health, wellness, and fitness to all stakeholders. If you are just starting out your career, you will be mentored and guided by senior Occupational Therapy colleagues. If you already have substantial experience, we may ask you to be an educator or mentor for therapy students, peers, and other medical professionals.
Graduated from a bachelor's or master's degree program in occupational therapy that is accredited by the ACOTE; successfully completed a minimum of 6 months of supervised fieldwork experience; passed the national entry-level certification exam administered by the NBCOT. Is involved in ongoing continuing education.

Experienced or new graduate.

Competent in delivery of Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment, documentation and consultation services in the areas of geriatrics, rehabilitation, acute care, pediatrics and adolescents.

Additional qualifications
Maintains NBCOT certification. PAMS certification. Basic Life Support.
License or certification
Maintains Minnesota license. Maintains valid Minnesota Driver's license. In addition, current Iowa license to practice occupational therapy for staff who are required to treat home health patients in Iowa.

Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (or equivalent).

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $29.36 per hour.
