Mayo Clinic’s Department of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic in La Crosse, WI is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Optometrist to join our established practice. The position will provide eye examinations and contact lens fittings as well as follow-up appointments. The Optometrist will also provide optometric care as defined by state licensure and makes appropriate referrals to medical providers. This Practice consists of a large multi-specialty eye practice, collegial working atmosphere, up to date diagnostic equipment, and support provided by excellent certified ophthalmic assistants. This position will provide care to patients of all ages. The expectation is physician will assist with teaching/ development of assistants and staff members. Currently practice supports shadowing by Emergency Department NP/PAs of physicians.
